8-05-12 Domestic #Poetry

This is the fourth link in the ongoing poetry chain  between clynnbud1 and myself. The rules are simple. you must use the last line of the previous poem s your first line. We have no set limit of how many poems we will do, instead we will keep going till we get tired.

Domestic
(Line in italics is the last line of previous poem)

Watching as she lay to sleep,
eyes closed, he weeps
for forgiveness.
Her bruise, his badge
of shame.
A raised hand,
weapon of mass destruction,
demolishing boundaries;
abusing love.
