American Horror Story: Can It keep going?

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk gave us American Horror Story: Murder House in 2011 Starring Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott, Connie Britt, Evan Peters, and Taissa Farmiga.

In 2012-2013 They returned with American Horror Story: Asylum which saw the return of McDermott, Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. Asylum focused around insanity and the inhabitants of Briarcliff Mental Institution.

Season Three- American Horror Story: Coven focuses on a witches coven and the struggle within as they search for the next supreme.

Out of the first three seasons, I prefer the first and second over the third season. AHS: Coven seemed to focus on more of teenage drama antics and less on the scares and a good story.  Kathy Bates story arc was the shining spot of the season for me. Lange, Paulson, and Bates are brilliant but the lackluster script didn't engage me as the other seasons.

Season four, American Horror Story: Freakshow is reportedly more darker in tone and the villain 'Twisty the Clown' sounds disturbingly menacing on paper. Hopefully all of Murphy's claims that Twisty will be scarier than Pennywise will come to fruition.

All things considered, I'm hyped for the fourth season and know that Ryan Murphy and crew will bring the goods this time. Just stay away from the formula used for Coven.

With season 4 being Jessica Lange's last season do you think the show quality will continue to impress from season 5 and beyond?  What do you say?

Leave a comment and let me know your views on the show and it's future.
