Can she learn to control he ever increasing powers, save the girl, and stop the Sangha’s nefarious plot?
“The One We Feed” doesn’t disappoint with more action, gore, and mystery. Lilith is coming to understand her powers, and with her friends help she is determined to stop the Sangha. The author once again brings top notch writing and characterization and raises the bar for the sub-genre. The inclusion of the little girl with powers of her own was a nice touch.
My only gripe with the story is that Lilith seemed to powerful. It was great seeing Lilith get a new power and learn to use it, but as it progresses her enemies become pushovers and seem not to pose much threat. It’s nothing major and didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the read.
