Five Sentence Fiction - Faces #FSF

Faces

"What do you want!" The helpless woman  fought the restraints that bound her to the chair; beneath her a cracked concrete floor and above a bare light-bulb hanging from the ceiling.

"If it is money you want, take my purse."

Crying, she began rocking from side to side hoping to tilt the chair to its side; three faces appear, stopping her attempted escape.

Each pale, with ghoulish red eyes and charcoal lips stared  at her brooding: the middle one parted it lips enough for a hideous green serpentine tongue to escape.

"Money means nothing to us; we want your powers," all three heads said in sync.

Five Sentence Fiction"Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction. " via Lillie McFerrin Writes
