Author Joseph D'Lacey's newest work 'Splinters' is a collection of short stories. With this collection being the first that I have read of the author, I came into this with only the knowledge provided in the blurbs online.
'Splinters' includes thirteen short stories. Each story showcases D'Lacey's disturbing but yet magnificent prose. My favorites within this collection are: 'The Food of Love', 'Lenses', 'Son of Porn', and 'The Unwrapping of Alistair Perry'
No matter what your taste there is a story for you but be warned, Joseph D'Lacey pulls no punches and brings the gore and horror in heaps of fleshly prose.
After reading 'Splinters' I will actively seek out more from the author and I would recommend this to all fans of horror.
